Why We Love Irvine
Irvine is a city situated in Orange County. It's a charter city, and known for its large number of corporations in the technology and semiconductor sectors. It's no surprise that such advanced technology resides here when popular higher education institutions do too. Within Irvine are University of California, Irvine, Concordia University, Irvine Valley College, USC Orange County Center, California State University Fullerton Irvine, and Pepperdine's Graziadio Business School. The southern portion of Irvine is known for its Irvine Business Complex, as well as number of headquartered businesses. Most notable about Irvine is that each of its villages was initially planned to have special, distinct architectural themes.
However, this portion of Irvine isn't all work and no play. To the east is the Irvine Spectrum, which includes a Target, Nordstrom, and Edwards Cinema complex. It's both a tech hub and a downtown, with office space communities that are adjacent to shopping and fun. The people of Irvine are also outdoorsy. Our Irvine location follows along the San Diego Creek, and is surrounded by parks. Local green spots include San Mateo Park, San Carlo Park, San Leandro Park, and Bill Barber Memorial Park. Also in the area is Boomers!, a national amusement center with go-karts, bumper boats, arcade games, and mini-golf. Full-sized golf can be played at the Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course just south of it. In addition, Irvine has a strong tie to arts and culture, as well represented by the Irvine Global Village Festival every October.
